Quality

Total Quality forms a significant part of the DB Schenker business policy. In order to meet the requirements of our customers we are continuously improving the processes in our daily operations. As the environment is concerned we have the ambition to become the most environmentally sustainable logistics provider in the world. At Schenker the improvement of processes and the enhancement of our performance to our customers is an important aspect of our day-to-day operation. The implementation of Total Quality is an essential part of our strategy. By using Quality System we are developing a continuous learning and improving organisation by which we are able to satisfy the changing wishes and requirements of our customers.

Quality Goals

Defining our policy towards quality is not enough. Everybody in our organisation must know what to accomplish on the long and short term. Only this way it is possible to adjust our activities and behaviour into the desired direction.

Management Process

Quality management process is orientated to the achievement of the defined quality objectives within quality policy. This is the continues process and it is based on the satisfaction of customer requirements. Quality management consists of different connected process management and it requires the involvement of the resources of different kind, including human resources.

We know - quality happens through people, not by the system itself. People create satisfied customers, not by the product itself.

Quality Certification ISO 9001:2000

On 8th of April 2002 Schenker Lithuania is certified standard ISO 9001:2000. This underlines the commitment of the company to provide quality service to its customers and continual improvement.
